Submission for Museum of Design in Oslo
Designed along with Jisu Yang and Cherry Yang

The proposed museum weaves what one defines as the archive and exhibition. The archive stands as a central and most important element of observing and studying a lineage of design history.

The exhibition volume explores the alternatives to presenting learned knowledge from the archive spaces. Placed after the lobby, the balcony before the ramp greets the visitors with the view of the archive storage space which is achieved through a sectional floor plate shift. This ramp guides viewers to move in between the spaces of the two distinct volumes: the storage and workshop; digital collection and exhibition; the biennale and flex spaces. This concept physically manifests itself first in the form of a large central volume that contains storage and display of the archive.
